At the start of each term we add up all the tutoring fees, paid by parents who nominated your school in the previous term and calculate the donation. If your school is registered, we make the payments each term.

Knect Learn donates 1% of all tutoring fees (exc. GST) to charity. Some of the tutors also chose to donate a further 1% (exc. GST) of their fees. If all the parents who nominate your school choose tutors who donate extra, the school will receive a 2% donation. Usually parents chose a range of tutors and so the actual donation is somewhere between 1 and 2%.
Tutors who have chosen to donate extra have an icon marked on their profile next to their rate per hour.
1% of the fees that that parent pays will be donated to a children’s charity.
